About QuickTools
Ten focused utilities for small, annoying jobs — and a deliberate choice to keep your files on your own device.
What this site is
QuickTools collects the tools people search for most often when they need something done quickly: a QR code for a link, two PDFs joined into one, a photo made small enough to email, or a tip split three ways. Each tool has its own page, its own explanation and no queue, no sign-up and no watermark.
Why everything runs in the browser
Most “free online tool” sites upload your file to a server, process it and send it back. That means your document sits on someone else’s disk, however briefly, and the site needs to be trusted with it. Modern browsers can do this work locally: the PDF library, the image encoder and the QR encoder all run as JavaScript or WebAssembly in the page.
So QuickTools has no upload endpoint at all. The tools keep working if you disconnect after the page has loaded. The only requests are for the site’s own static files, plus the ad slot on pages that carry one.
What it does not do
- No account, email address or payment details are collected.
- No analytics are installed. Advertising is served by Google AdSense (see privacy policy).
- No files or passwords are logged, stored or transmitted.
- No “premium” upsell after you have done the work.
How it is built
The site is a static React + TypeScript application, pre-rendered at build time and served from a CDN. There is no application server and no database, which is also why there is nothing to breach. Open-source components and their licences are listed in the project’s NOTICE file.
Feedback
Bugs, wrong results and missing tools are all worth reporting — see the contact page. If a calculation ever looks wrong, tell us the exact inputs; correctness matters more than the feature list.
